Roll Out, produced in December 2019 by students in Edinboro’s Film & Video program, has been selected for screening at this year’s Los Angeles Lift-Off Film Festival. The Lift-Off Network coordinates 11 global festivals from its headquarters at the famed Pinewood Studios in the UK.
Made by students in Professor Brian Fuller’s Film & Video Production II course, Roll Out – honored in December as a semi-finalist in the Los Angeles Cine Fest – features interviews with members of the Eerie Roller Girls, who guide viewers through the qualities and features of a good derby skate. The movie was directed Elise Cohen and produced by Monica Wilson.
